Read this before you act on the report.

The Multiple Project's Free Discovery is a strategic indication of where a business stands today and where it could stand with focused work. It is built to start a conversation, not to end one. Read it like a guide, not a verdict.
The conversation is AI-assisted.
The Discovery chat is conducted by an AI assistant, not a human consultant. The model is Claude, made by Anthropic, prompted with our exit-readiness framework. We don't hide it - AI is the right tool for a structured conversation that asks the same questions of every owner, in plain English, on demand. It has limits worth knowing:
- The AI can misread a vague or ambiguous answer. If a score in your report feels wrong, that's the most likely reason. Push back in the chat or reply to the report email and we'll talk it through.
- It only knows what you tell it during the chat. It can't see your books, your bank, your CRM, or anything outside the conversation.
- Your valuation is formula-driven from the scores you receive. The AI applies the framework; it doesn't decide what your business is worth on a whim.
- A real person at TidyBizAI is on the other end of exitready@tidybizai.com for any follow-up.
It is not a valuation.
The dollar figures we generate for "Current Value" and "Potential Value" are educated estimates based on what you tell us during the chat and on public market multiples for small businesses in your industry. They are not formal valuations under any Australian or international standard. They are not signed by a Certified Practicing Valuer or registered business broker. Don't take them to a bank. Don't put them in a sale contract.
It is not financial, legal, or accounting advice.
Nothing on this site, in the chat, or in the report constitutes personal financial, taxation, legal, or accounting advice. We don't know your full circumstances. We're not licensed to give you that advice. Before you make any decision that involves selling, restructuring, or borrowing against your business, talk to a qualified professional who is accountable to you - your accountant, lawyer, financial adviser, or registered broker.
The numbers depend on your inputs.
Garbage in, garbage out. If the EBITDA range you give us is wrong, the value range will be wrong. If you describe your operations as more sellable than they really are, the readiness score will be optimistic. We do our best to ask the right questions, but we can't audit your books from a 5-minute chat.
Buyer behaviour is not in our control.
What a real buyer pays depends on the buyer, the deal structure, market conditions, the strength of your advisor, and dozens of other factors that aren't visible in a Discovery. The Potential Value figure assumes a competent process and a willing buyer at a normal point in the market cycle. Reality may be kinder. Reality may be harder.
No guarantees.
We make no representation that following the recommendations in your report will increase the sale price of your business, find you a buyer, or produce any specific financial outcome. Most of the work happens after the Discovery. The framework is a tool. The work is yours.
If in doubt
Take the report. Sit with it. Take it to your accountant. Take it to a registered business broker. Take it to anyone you trust who has actually sold a business. Use it as the start of a real conversation, not the answer to one.
